GO charter with OUR skippers

When choosing a yacht for charter you should consider the number of people who will be on board, your preferences for comfort and type of yacht (sailing, catamaran or motor yacht). It is also important to take into account your experience and skills if you are planning a bareboat charter.

Most countries will require a skipper's certificate (e.g. ISSA, IYT, RYA or other internationally recognised certificate) and a VHF radio (VHF) operator's certificate. Some countries may also require a national licence. If you do not have such a certificate, or lack experience in yacht handling, we will be happy to find an experienced skipper for your voyage.

Usually the cost of a yacht charter includes the yacht itself, yacht insurance - but bear in mind that the deposit covers the deductible on this insurance, navigation equipment and basic gear. In addition there may be charges such as transit log fees, as well as fuel, linen, cleaning, harbour and mooring fees, usually all of which are referred to as vessel's cassa. There are also separate charges for the services of the captain or crew if they are required.

A charter usually lasts one week (Saturday 4pm to Saturday 8pm), but other options such as short charters of a few days or long charters of a month are possible. The duration depends on your preferences and the availability of the yacht.

Cancellation conditions depend on the charter company, and the terms of the charter contract. Usually, if cancelled several months before the charter date, only a portion of the amount will be charged, however, closer to the charter date, the amount may not be refundable. It is recommended that you take out your own insurance for cancellations or contingencies.
